Console play in your booth is freeplay. Tokens are for the classic arcades and pinball, and you can top up at the machines any time. Pre-order the food so it lands when you want it. Cakes, decorations, photographers and videographers are all welcome.

Where in Melbourne is it?
Inside Bartronica, basement level, 335 Flinders Lane, Melbourne CBD. Two minutes from Flinders Street Station, ten from Southern Cross, with trams on Flinders and Collins, so nobody needs to drive. Stairs down from the street, and a lift in the building if you'd rather take it. Open Tuesday to Friday from 4pm, Saturday from 2pm. Got a big group and want a Sunday or Monday? Email us. We can open for exclusive hire, priced separately.
What does it cost, and how many can you fit?
$50, $85, $100 or $125 per person depending on how long you want the room. GST included, no booking fee, no surprise line items. Package pricing works for groups of 4 up to 40. Over 40 we move you to exclusive venue hire, which is quoted separately, and the venue is licensed for 200.
When do we pay, and what if someone drops out?
Once you confirm, we issue an invoice for the full amount, payable before the event date. That payment locks the booking in and sets your final numbers, so leave it as late as you comfortably can. If someone pulls out after that, their tokens and their share of the bar tab get shared between everyone who turns up. Cancellations need at least 48 hours' notice. One person usually pays and collects off the group, so get the money in the group chat early.
How does the drinks allowance work?
Set it up as one group tab or split it per person, whichever suits. Either way you drink through it over your time window. Use it or lose it. Anything left at the end counts as room hire, so it can't be refunded or moved to another date. On public holidays a surcharge applies to drink pricing, so it goes a little less far.
Do we get the space to ourselves?
You get private seating and your own console booth on every package, but not the whole venue, so the bar and the arcade floor stay open. Larger groups get seated areas combined to fit. Want the place to yourselves? That's exclusive hire, over 40 people, quoted on enquiry.
Is it 18+?
Yes. Licensed venue, strictly 18+, all night. Everyone gets ID checked on the door no matter how old the group looks, so tell the one bloke who never brings his wallet.
